Breakfast: small bowl of yogurt with toasted shaved coconut, sliced and toasted almonds, mexican vanilla, and blueberries; one slice of sourdough toast with butter; hot water. The power unexpectedly went out on just one circuit, cause unknown. I reset the circuit breaker and emailed our landlord asking to help us resolve a problem with a washer load in progress. Walked and rode Muni to UCSF Parnassus. Wind-down activities all day. Lunch with Suzan at La Boulangerie: soup of the day and turmeric chai for Suzan, turkey sandwich and chai latte for me. Later: coffee with Edgar, Julie, and Kiyomi at Caffe Central at Kalmanovitz Library. Walked and rode Muni home. Dinner at home with Patrick: falafel in whole wheat pita, hot water. Afterwards we watched Everybody's Live s1:e1 with John Mulaney on Netflix then What We Do in the Shadows s6:e3 on Hulu. Patrick received some bad news today: Felice Picano, renowned writer and our friend, passed away in Los Angeles. Our hearts are heavy with the news of this loss.
