Continuing cold symptoms, day 16. Took the day off work for Patrick's birthday. For pre-brunch we walked to Antigua Cafe and shared a breakfast burrito with drinks, cafe au lait for Patrick, chai tea latte for me. Sam picked us up and then we picked up Kerry and Mom Ryan. Lunch at Eric's Restaurant: combo appetizer platter, egg drop soup, five-spice chicken, walnut shrimp, hunan fish, hoisin string beans, steamed white rice, steamed brown rice, hot tea, ice water. My fortune: Your ability to love will help a child in need. $93.25 after a $16 tip. Sam dropped everyone at home. Nap with Patrick. I woke before him and did some Recharge Medical work: blog post. Rode UberX to the Castro. Arrived early for our dinner reservation and walked a bit in the neighborhood. Dinner at Frances with Patrick: sparkling elderberry cocktail; carrot soup and steak for Patrick; bacon beignets and atlantic cod for me; dessert: coffee with dark chocolate pound cake to share. $178.86 before a $30 tip.
