Walked with Patrick to breakfast at Le Marais Bistro: we shared a breakfast board with 7 items: tomato salad with vinaigrette, scrambled eggs, bacon, morning bun, croissant, yogurt with blueberries, granola. Water and lattes to drink. Each non-pastry item comes in a small bowl; it's a little odd to each scrambled eggs and bacon from the cups. A 1.5-inch black hair appeared on my table adjacent to the board just after the board arrived, and I don't know where it came from. It could have been mine, but I doubt it from the way it looked. I picked it up with my fingers and dropped it to the floor. Our helper at the register forgot to include the croissant in our order, but it was not a big deal to get up and request it and to grab another set of utensils with napkin since only one was brought with the board. The food and drink were delicious. The board was a little too much food for us—we stuffed ourselves and left a tiny bit behind—but it was probably a perfect amount for three persons. We left. Patrick visited his mom and Kerry. I walked home. Removed dirt and leaves and a small amount of standing water from the exterior stairwell with the leaf blower, then used the leaf blower inside the garage to push dirt and dust out into the street. Dusted the bannister with a microfiber towel. Vacuumed the upper level. Recharge Medical web work: minor web page edits, reformulated page-toc to resolve case issues and broken links, rechecked links, overrode the shortcode-ui plugin to make it use divs instead of dls for callouts because the code it generated failed to validate due to the failure to include dd elements. Skipped lunch because I wasn't hungry. Dinner at home with Patrick: delivery from Fiorella: pepperoni pizza. Dessert (from elsewhere): macarons. Water to drink. Patrick also had a glass of red wine. Afterwards we watched Jazz Fest: A New Orleans Story on Kanopy, which was really excellent in every way. The film won Best Music Film at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards in 2023. Patrick went to bed. I watched YouTube, including Psychology of Polymaths: Why Having Multiple Interests Is an Unfair Advantage. I continued reading from paperback book Confluence by Alex Turner and Lucian Childs. I'm one chapter in, and it's quite well-written. Late snack: one nectarine, water.
