Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, flax meal, cacao nibs, toasted shaved coconut, sliced and toasted almonds, diced half banana; hot water. New home research. Black Friday purchases. Lunch: Patrick had a turkey sandwich with cheddar. I had fusilli with leftover marinara. Cleaned the bathroom, cut my hair, showered, cleaned the bathroom. Later Patrick and I walked and rode Muni to the Castro. Along the way the L-Taraval train stopped before entering the West Portal tunnel for about 15 minutes. There was a delay that was never explained. The train operator did not open the doors to let us out. We were trapped for the entire time. We visited Cliff's Hardware. I bought 9-volt batteries and some packing tape. They didn't have the damper buffer I needed to fix the damaged one in our bathroom cabinet. We walked to The Academy for Friday Wine Social. Afterwards we visited Detour for a round of non-alcoholic drinks and their nori tots which Patrick particularly loves. Rode UberX home along with five bottles of wine from an Academy wine tasting a while back.
