Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, flax meal, cacao nibs, toasted shaved coconut, sliced and roasted almonds, dried cherries; hot water. Walked and rode Muni to UCSF Parnassus. Siteimprove linkchecking, spellchecking, and policy work. Edited and published a news story for Suzan. Updated my accomplishments list. Karen and I fielded a request from Patricia R with SOM OME regarding the kitchen. Weeded the list of things I am waiting on others about. Followup with Judy C about a purchase order question. Followup with Andy B about a dynamic listserv for temporary employees. Reimaged laptop setup and config. Listserv management. Made a sign for S126 to let delivery drivers know what to do if we're not here. Lunch: tuna sandwich from Moffitt Cafe Express, water from my water bottle. Walked and rode Muni to Zhuzh for an employee get-together and drinks for Recharge. In attendance: Phil, Drew, Bernard (from Recharge), Cricket, Sanjay, Tai. We chatted a while with Anthony who was there for a gay professionals meetup. We met bartender Ann (Anne?) and Anthony's (acquaintance?) Gina. We remet owner Aaron whom we had met at Macondray. Afterwards, Phil, Drew, Sanjay, Tai, and I walked to dinner at Aicha Moroccan Cuisine where we ate various tagines and couscous plates and drank moroccan mint tea. Among other things, we talked about South Africa, immigration bureaucracy, mutual funds vs. index funds, Hilton, housing, renting, condos, Toastmasters and public speaking, Peaches and Herb, Peaches and Cream, Prince. They drove me home.
