Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, flax meal, cacao nibs, toasted shaved coconut, sliced and roasted almonds, dried cherries; hot water. Worked from home. Siteimprove linkchecking, spellchecking, and policy work. Prepared a wide communication. Impromptu meeting with the Faculty Academic Affairs team: Robin C, Phillip B, Angelie K. Late lunch: deli chicken noodle soup, Trader Joe's corn chip dippers, water. Listserv management all afternoon. Patrick and Sam returned from their trip. Walked to dinner with Patrick at Viet Quan: We shared imperial rolls—delicious, perfect. Patrick had curry chicken with egg noodle soup. I had chicken with rice plate. Hot tea for both. Patrick said his soup had more bones than chicken. Service was neglectful after the delivery of the entrees; our tea ran out. I tipped 15% anyway on top of taxes and SF mandate. Walked home. Cocktail: I made us Manhattans. We watched The Acolyte s1:e3 on Disney+ then two clips of Gary Gulman on YouTube then The Bear s1:e5 on Hulu. Patrick went to bed. I washed dishes.
