Ran in place to various YouTube videos. Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, flax meal, blueberries; water to drink. Began using the new MacBook Pro full-time even though not all the setup and config is complete. Enough is to get most work done, though. Tested the completion of the renaming of our resource account that we use for our vacation calendar. Prepped an announcement for the team about it. 1:1 with Eric. Lunch at home: I prepared for myself noodle soup with brown rice spaghetti, Patrick's vegetable broth, tofu, shrimp, egg, super greens, grape tomatoes, mushrooms, furikake. Water to drink. Met with Levi G and Gina N and applicants for a position on our team. Helped Alfonz S and Lisa C with a problem with HIVE newsletters ending up in Proofpoint quarantine. Submitted a new request to UCSF Brand Comm for a desktop license for Granjon. For some reason when setting up the new computer, I could not find any old font files that still worked I think because they are older font formats that don't work on macOS Monterey. Dinner at home with Patrick: marmitako (Basque tuna and potato soup), water, red wine. Afterwards we watched various YouTube videos. Patrick went to bed. I washed dishes. Troubleshot a problem in which AirDrop worked only in one direction: from the new laptop I could see the old laptop and not the other way around. I resolved it by temporarily turning off the firewall on the new laptop. This made it visible on the old laptop. However, the solution wasn't sticky. Once the firewall was enabled again, it disappeared from the old laptop. This happened even after on the new laptop I added /usr/libexec/sharingd to accept all connections. Later I tried resolving a problem with importing a database into PHPMyAdmin but failed because the upload filesize was limited to 2048 KiB. What eventually fixed it for me was altering .docksal/docksal.yml to add "- UPLOAD_LIMIT=1024M" under the environment section for phpmyadmin, then in pma select the database called default before importing. The import got further than it did in the past, but after a long time I got an error: "Cannot connect: invalid settings" and "#2006 - MySQL server has gone away". Late snack: dry roasted unsalted cashews, one heirloom navel orange.
