Rode Muni to UCSF Parnassus. UCSF shuttle from Parnassus to Laurel Heights. Along the way I continued studying Spanish on Duolingo. Sprint standup. Editor training followup with Lisa C and Bill N. Followup with CY about alumni email accounts. Filed pcard paperwork. Redirected a Lexicomp request to Rodney. Tried to run an errand but discovered that the hardware store I remembered is now a lovely wedding gown store. Lunch at Smokin' Warehouse Barbecue, with which I was unimpressed. It's not a bad experience, but there's not enough reason to return. UCSF shuttle from Laurel Heights to Parnassus. Attended Kim B's retirement party. Checked in with the OSACA, chatted with Joel about Jazzee. Rode Muni home. Dinner at home with Patrick: Blue Apron summer squash tempura tacos with pickled red onion and cucumber-jalapeno salsa. China trip planning: tried on new purchases: a new hat for protection from sun and rain, a new lightweight jacket suitable for light rain. The hat was too big and I was about to return it when I remembered there is an adjustable cord that made it fit pretty well. The size small jacket is too big, but they don't make a men's extra small, and the boys version seems to be sized similarly and has fewer and less appealing color choices. So at purchase time I knew I would have had to alter the jacket in order to get a better fit. Recharge Medical work: adding Vanquish: consent form, web page, price list pdf. Late snack: small bowl of peas and corn from frozen, 8 ounces of carrot juice.
