Spent over an hour with Goo Gone removing residue still stuck to my skin from medical stickers from my procedure last week. Made breakfast: oatmeal with fresh, sliced strawberries; "dried north almond"; a few drops of vanilla; and 2% milk. I began eating then immediately did a Google search on dried north almond—my foodie habit of learning about what I eat when I eat it. I stopped after two bites, contemplated my options, read some more, then threw the whole bowl out. The "dried north almonds" I had were Chinese, packaged by "K. L. Y. Trading Co., Inc." in San Francisco, CA, 94124, U. S. A. A Canadian government web page told me that these were likely apricot kernels mislabeled as north almonds. Travel planning all day with quantum13. Late lunch: Joe's O's, hot water. More travel planning. Dinner at home with Patrick: Patrick made a seitan and vegetable stir fry in oyster sauce with sesame seeds. More travel planning. Watched Interior. Leather Bar. (2013) on Netflix DVD with Patrick. The film is not particularly brilliant, but it interestingly opens exploratory questions about filmmaking and social norms involving sexuality in a way that is both crafty and potentially crafty. It deserves higher than the 5.5 it currently has on imdb. I would give it a 6.8.
