Breakfast at home: Patrick prepared scrambled eggs, chicken sausage patties, hash browns with ketchup, and Bernal Bakery rustic sourdough with salted butter. Hot water to drink. I processed dirty dishes and cleaned the kitchen. Attempted to install a water hammer arrester on the hot line in the kitchen, but I realized that the angle stop seems to have failed. I tried but could not identify how else to shut the hot water off. I left it in a stable state, and I think we'll need a plumber. Followup with the Oupes disaster and other paperwork. Lunch: banana-avocado smoothie. Began preparing HOA paperwork. Patrick helped. Patrick wasn't feeling well, so he remained home to rest while I walked to meet a subset of The Syndicate at Detour for drinks to celebrate Timmy D's last day of work. Timmy D, Scot, Scott, Andy, Ryan, David, John, Brian, Jose, Galen, Brendon. Afterwards most of us walked to La Mediterannee for dinner where Tom and more of Timmy's friends met us, including Josh. We talked about iPhone Duo, HomeView, employee discounts, frantic online ordering of Apple products, pets, labradors, servals, backyards, international flights, upgrading seats, Spanish, ASL, sleep, caffeine, the Richmond, cruises, travel plans, Halloween plans, and more. We ate an assortment of food and wine. Timmy gave a short speech thanking everyone for coming and expressing gratitude for being his friends. Andy somehow ended up paying for something when he shouldn't have, I think? Walked home. I processed dirty dishes, cleaned the kitchen, and started the dishwasher. More HOA paperwork. Realized that maybe the angle stop is covered under our home warranty.
