Breakfast: challah French toast with mixed-berries sauce and whipped cottage cheese, hot water. Nespresso for Patrick. Afterwards I washed the laundry room rug in the washer and washed the exteriors of the three windows facing the patio first with Silver Cymbal's window washing solution then with Invisible Glass Glass Stripper. Used the Zoom Broom for the first time. It works as advertised and is likely suitable for our needs. Neti pot. Spent part of today continuing work started recently on the project to convert our CC&Rs to a more pleasantly readable form. The original paper version was typed on a typewriter and looks like it had been faxed or photocopied at least several times. Because of this it's not only difficult to find answers to questions about the agreement but also unpleasant, and tasks that are unpleasant are less likely to be done and more likely to be done inaccurately. I had scanned it, then ChatGPT had given me a Microsoft Word version, but it needed a lot of manual fixes because the quality of the letters was originally so poor. It's painstaking work because it needs to accurately match the old version since it could potentially be part of a legal matter. Lunch: half pita with sliced avocado and sliced tomato with lemon beet hummus, water. Later, a snack: tortilla chips with sliced avocado (to use the remainder of the avocado). In the evening Patrick and I walked to dinner. Not certain of our destination, we wandered and ended up at Zona Rosa where we shared chips and mild green salsa and one chicken burrito and one pineapple Jarritos: about $23. Then we walked in the Castro until meeting Paul M, Tommy, and Mark H at Copper for drinks and snacks (tater tots and fries). We chatted for several hours. Afterwards Tommy and Mark departed for home. Paul, Patrick, and I walked to Blush! where we encountered Dan P and Jimmy and said hello briefly. Patrick walked home. Paul and I stayed for one more round. Afterwards we walked to Market and Castro and said goodbye. Paul went home to have ramen for dinner. I walked home and went to bed soon afterwards.
