Breakfast at home: Patrick's homemade granola with yogurt and blueberries, hot water. Recharge Medical work: Attempted to resolve duplicate without user-selected canonical urls in Google Search Console and failed. Lunch: leftover fusilli with marinara, spinach, and fresh grated parm, hot water. In the afternoon I was invited by Suzan to join a Madonnarama party for her friend Saturn on the eve of Madonna's 68th birthday. Patrick needed time to himself and remained at home. I walked to Suzan and Tim's place. Michael T, Leo, and I chatted until Suzan was ready, then Leo drove us to Saturn's place in SoMa. I met or encountered Simon, Brook, Chris, dog King Louis, George, Jara, Juan, Jorge, Celso, and perhaps more whose names I did not recall. Madonna played on the speakers while Madonna videos played muted on televisions. Various people performed lip synchs of various Madonna songs with group sing-alongs. Pre-mixed cocktails included True Blue (vodka with blue curaƧao) and Hard Candy (I don't recall the ingredients in this one). Suzan had two outfits: 1. black and gold with cone bustier and bleached blond ponytail and fake headset microphone, 2. Dress You Up jacket with lace gloves and top, crucifixion and beaded and chain necklaces or bracelets, blue sheer leggings, and the bright-bold colors of the 1980s in navy blue wrap skirt, neon green belt, and teal hair scrunchy with an iridescent tamborine. Suzan won a t-shirt (Everyone here is a work of art) for being best dressed. There were various trivia quizzes on which I did poorly because I misunderstood the instructions—complete the next line of lyrics, not write the name of the song. At one point someone dropped a slice of chocolate-raspberry cake on a beautiful checkerboard rug, and I was surprised when it was removed quite cleanly with soda water and a dishcloth and a fair amount of rubbing. Much fun, food, and drink were had. Afterwards Simon gave us a ride back to Suzan and Tim's. We rested a bit before Simon and I walked to dinner in the Castro. Tanglad was full with a 20-minute wait. Ka Kai was full with a long line. We got in with no waiting at Thai House Express. We shared fresh spring rolls with tofu and pan fried noodles with yellow curry with tofu, mild. Thai iced tea for Simon, hot jasmine tea for me. While dining we encountered Ryan dining nearby with friend PJ, and we said hello. Afterwards Simon and I walked to Castro and Market Streets, and Simon tried to find blanco tequila for Tim and Suzan at Rossi's then at Castro Liquor and Wine before the request was belayed. Simon left to meet Tim on Market Street. I walked home and fell asleep a while later.
