Breakfast at home: leftovers from dinner last night, hot water. Removed the giant warning label attached to the power cable on our Breville Nespresso machine with a Slice cutter then cleaned the area with GooGone. Continued the project to remove stickiness from the inner stairwell handrail due to years of oils from hands soaking into the paint: scraped, sanded, applied odorless mineral spirit substitute. Now need to wait at least 24 hours before painting. Applied painters tape as a reminder to not use the handrail before painting. Lunch at home with Patrick: leftovers from dinner last night, hot water. Patrick napped. I washed dishes and cleaned the kitchen. Covered the Breville logo on our new Nespresso machine with black gaff tape. Cleaned the lower hallway floors with a Swiffer and a very lightly moist microfiber towel (water only) then vacuumed. Afternoon snack: one nectarine. Deep-cleaned our Hunter Douglas Luminette Privacy Sheers control wands with dish soap solution, a microfiber towel, and the smaller brush in the Oxo Good Grips Deep Clean Brush Set, including removing paint spatters from previous poor paint jobs. Recharge Medical work: email campaign followup. Hand nail care then moisturize. Removed a loose tuft of carpet from the threshold between the south bedroom and the south bathroom with scissors. Dinner at home with Patrick: achiote chicken tacos, hot water. I processed dirty dishes and cleaned the kitchen. We watched The Bear s5:e1 on Hulu and YouTube with microwave mug brownie with butterscotch chips and cold milk. Patrick went to bed. I removed giant warning labels attached the power cord of our West Elm Caldas floor lamp with a Slice cutter then cleaned the area with GooGone. I cleaned the kitchen floor mats with dish soap solution and a microfiber towel. I processed more dirty dishes, cleaned the kitchen, and started the dishwasher. Attempted to remove small (water?) stains from our leather couch with a microfiber towel and dish soap solution. We'll see the results in the morning after it dries.
