Breakfast: TJ's maple-pecan granola with diced honeycrisp apple, hot water. Physical therapy exercises to treat a minor back issue. Swept the lowest exterior stairwell landing and entry and in front of the home. Trimmed and brushed wall greenery. Lunch: Patrick ate leftovers. I prepared for myself yakisoba using frozen noodles from Weee! with cabbage, carrot, and mushrooms. Hot water to drink. A plumber stopped by to discuss some issues. Web template edits for Recharge Medical to resolve some minor validation and rich data issues. Wrote a long email to Pang about plumbing issues. Dinner at home with Patrick: mushroom and spinach pizza from frozen, hot water. Afterwards we walked to Full Proof where Brad was hosting Garrett from Tip Top Proper Cocktails serving tastings of their prepared classic cocktails from a can. Everything we tried was excellent. We'll return later to buy us some Tip Top. They're perfect for when you want a cocktail but you don't want to mix four or more ingredients with ice and shake and clean up. During the event we met Hadley S and talked about dogs and where we lived and Santa Barbara and Patrick also chatted a lot with Brad. Afterwards we walked to Fabulosa Books for Mighty Real: A History of LGBTQ Music, 1969-2000, a book release reading and conversation with author Barry Walters and SF Bay Guardian Executive Editor and Publisher Marke Bieschke. Mighty Real is to pop music as Vito Russo's The Celluloid Closet is to film. Walters shared his opinion about Madonna recently in Times Square and Confessions on a Dance Floor 2 and a story about Peter Hook from New Order and more. Paul joined us for the reading and left as the Q&A began. Patrick and I walked home. Patrick went to bed. I ate a char siu bun from frozen then caught up on journaling.
