Breakfast: leftover noodle soup from Tanglad, hot water. Move prep: removed screws and anchors from walls, then patched. Lunch at home by myself: dumplings from frozen with dipping sauce, hot water. Upgraded operating systems on home devices. Nap. Walked and rode Muni to dinner at Luisa's where we met Michele and Kristyn: drinks: iced tea no lemon, wine. We ordered a salami pizza as a starter to share. Complimentary bread with oil and balsamic vinegar. Michele ordered lasagne alla bolognese with alfredo on top. Kristyn ordered gnocchi with vodka sauce. Patrick ordered pollo parmigiana with fettuccine. I ordered grilled salmon with veggies in wine sauce. After a long wait following the bread, our mains arrived before the pizza. We mentioned that we were expecting the pizza first, and it was delivered about 10 or 15 minutes later. We suspect but do not know for sure that our server was new or perhaps did not have good English skills. A different server, Sonia, took over at least twice for our server. Dessert: we shared an order of tiramisu. Patrick had a single espresso. Kristyn had a double espresso. All food and drink were delicious. We talked about family, relationships, music, vinyl records, tree nut allergies, lawnmowing, toilet seats, sports, Brene Brown, sugar, science, and more. The restaurant has existed for 50 years. It has a classy feel to it, and the service initially seemed like it was going to be excellent. Later I realized looking at our receipt that we were undercharged by about $15 to $20. One glass of wine was missing, and the charge for the espressos was not clearly correct. We did enjoy our meal despite the pizza hiccup, but Patrick and I are not sure if we'd return in the future. Rode Uber home. To bed.
