Breakfast: small bowl of greek yogurt with toasted shaved coconut, sliced and toasted almonds, and mexican vanilla; chai with simple syrup and milk. Worked from home. Siteimprove linkchecking, spellchecking, and policy work. Wind-down activities all day: weeding. Resolved a duplicate address problem in Weekly News Digest for Joel. Lunch by myself at home: leftovers from last night's dinner. Cleaned the bathroom. Cut my hair, showered. Cleaned the bathroom. Dinner: Patrick and I walked to Gallinette (415-463-6250, 3560 Taraval Street). We think this was our second time dining here. Glass of les seriziers cdr and half roasted chicken with brussels sprouts for Patrick. Glass of chateau du rocher, beef burger with bacon and fixins with fries for me. Dessert: we shared a chocolate pot de creme. All food and drink were delicious. The restaurant was nearly completely full. We not only received great service, but we were also made to feel special. We were initially sat at a corner of the giant farm table, but they moved us to a 2-top (table 50) shortly afterwards. Patrick enjoyed a view of the entrance while I enjoyed a view of the kitchen. Upon leaving we remembered to take our leftovers, but I had forgotten my bag, and one of the workers ran out to catch us in the crosswalk—so nice. A very satisfying experience. $106 before a $16 tip. Our receipt said our server's name was Jose Prieto.
