Toe procedure recovery. Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, flax meal, cacao nibs, toasted shaved coconut, sliced and toasted almonds, diced half banana; hot water. In the afternoon Patrick and I walked and rode Muni to visit Kerry and Mom Ryan. Afterwards Patrick and I walked to dinner at Picaro: sangria, martin codax albariño, croquetas de pollo, rabo de toro, champinones al ajillo, gambas al ajillo, pescado rebozado, tortilla de patata. We enjoyed our meal very much, but six dishes was two dishes too many. We chatted at length with our server whose name we didn't get but our receipt said Gonzales. Drinks at Copper: round 1: tres brujas (catedral espadin mezcal, lime juice, liquid alchemist passion fruit syrup, strega) for Patrick, blue smoke (union mezcal, liquid alchemist coconut, lime juice, blue curacao, pineapple juice) for me. Round 2: smoked nuts (union mezcal, amaretto, lemon juice, simple syrup, orange peel, black cherry) for Patrick, aviation (aviation gin, maraschino liqueur, creme de violette, lemon juice, black cherry) for me. We visited Badlands and got in free before the $10 cover charge began. No drinks because we had had enough. No dancing because I am still on the tail end of resolving minor back pain. Patrick didn't want to dance if I wasn't going to. We ate a late snack at Hot Johnnie's: waffle fries and ketchup. Rode Uber home.
