Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, flax meal, toasted shaved coconut, chopped and roasted almonds, blueberries; a bowl of Rainier cherries; hot water. Worked from home. Siteimprove linkchecking, spellchecking, and policy work all day. Followup with staff whose email address privacy setting is probably set to UCSF Only rather than Public. Followup with Brooks B about how to send messages to our faculty and staff. Followup with Zach S about Otter licensing and account migration. Unpublished a page that was no longer needed for Alexa. Continued troubleshooting OneDrive problems: Word documents opening with read only errors. Resolved them by doing nothing but waiting several days. So maddening. Lunch at home: leftover langoustine mac and cheese, water. Began playing Wonderputt Forever on my iPad Air—fun! Resolved some broken urls found by Google Webmaster Tools. Performed some admin work in Siteimprove, including creating a new tag for only those sites that my team is responsible for. Walked and rode Muni to the Castro. This afternoon Donald Trump was found guilty on 34 of 34 counts in his hush money trial. Met Patrick at Swirl. We walked to dinner at Mr. Hen Noodles House: poached chicken breast with rice and side of broth for Patrick, dry noodles with grilled chicken and side of broth for me. Flavored sparkling waters for both. All food, drink, and service were very good. Gnats marred our otherwise nice experience. We wished there were a beverage menu posted. They do have thai iced tea. Afterwards we walked to Lobby Bar: Saint Tiki (roe and co whiskey, falernum, mommenpop kumquat, peach, mint, yerba mate, lemon) for Patrick, The Fizz (catedral mezcal, apologue saffron, cashew orgeat, coconut, lime, ginger salt) for me. Rode Lyft home. We watched 52 minutes of Star Trek: Discovery s5:e10 (season finale) on Paramount+. Patrick went to bed. Late snack: Rainier cherries, water.
