Ran in place to various YouTube videos. Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, flax meal, and sliced banana; water to drink. Read NNGroup's email newsletter. Posted a mini essay on brand and identity in the Teams channel for it. Investigated alternatives to Pinboard for social bookmarking. Lunch at home: leftover bulgur wheat salad with mixed greens and diced red onion, yogurt with strawberry preserves and chopped almonds, water. Read CSS Layout News 337. Dinner at home with Patrick: red lentil soup, water. We finished watching The Adam Project on Netflix instant watch with Martha Stewart's Movie-Theater-Style Popcorn and reduced-sugar gin fizzes then watched standup comedy and an SNL clip on YouTube. Patrick went to bed. I imported my Pinboard bookmarks html export into Firefox. Firefox hung I think because the 2.3 MB file had 9,824 bookmarks. The first time, I had thought it didn't import anything (no feedback), so I imported again. It hung again. Then after finding them in the bookmarks root (rather than a folder called something like import.2022.0314) I realized it did import twice. So then I had to install the Bookmark Dupes extension for Firefox and spent the next half hour or so letting it automatically remove dupes. That hung at 33% completion. Force quit. Restarted Firefox. Restarted the dedupe process. It finally finishes. Began learning how best to quickly access bookmarks in Firefox using shortcuts in the address bar like caret for history and asterisk for bookmarks. I washed dishes. Late snack: whole-milk cottage cheese with sliced banana and chopped almonds, water with a bit of lemon juice.
