Town hall reminder email build all morning. Rode UberX to Cha Cha Cha on Haight to meet Joel for lunch, indoors, not very crowded. We each got a cubano classico, his with plantain chips, mine with fried potatoes. Diet Coke for Joel, water for me. We caught up on life after not seeing each other in person for well over a year or two. We talked about Italy and other travels, people at work, working conditions, the hiring process for Cindy's replacement, whether Joel was interested in that position (no), Fiona Ma, and more. Joel took a good photo of me on his iPhone. I think it was a 12 Pro Max? Afterwards we both got groceries at Whole Foods. So nice to spend some time with Joel today. I rode UberX home. Continued town hall reminder email build even though Eric sent it as non-html email because we ran out of time. We're still going to need it for next time. Afterwards I continued playing Little Orpheus on Apple Arcade on Apple TV while Patrick watched. Patrick went to bed. I washed more dishes. Late snack: small four-cheese quesadilla using corn tortillas, four ounces of hazelnut soda made from Torani syrup and sparkling water from the Sodastream.
