Breakfast at home with Patrick: scrambled eggs with grated parmesan and diced green onions, hash brown with ketchup, whole wheat toast with butter, 8 ounces of orange juice. Walked and rode Muni to UCSF Laurel Heights, stopping at Walgreens along the way. Bought $20.71 of items but then realized after the transaction was complete that I forgot to pull out the $5 rewards coupon I had intended to use for a $20-minimum purchase. Why can't rewards be automatic? Why can't people save money even if they are forgetful? Received unsolicited phone calls from 408-333-2763 which I presume to be a spammer or scammer. Resolved error "Unable to download bz2" when starting or launching Sublime Text 2 using the solution provided by fabritw on Sep 22, 2017 at https://github.com/wbond/package_control/issues/1134#issuecomment-331585126 : Press Cmd+Shift+P to open the Command Palette then type 'package' then select 'Preferences: Package Control Settings - User' then add "downloader_precedence": { "osx": ["curl"] }, to the first line of the settings file after the opening curly brace (checking that the syntax is correct if other settings were present). Save, then after a few seconds you should see a dialog: 'Package Control: 1 missing dependency was just installed. Sublime Text should be restarted, otherwise one or more of the installed packages may not function properly.' Restart Sublime Text 2 and the problem should be gone. Spent the rest of the day setting up local dev environment with Vagrant and mystic. Lately I have been receiving lots of spam from Vanessa Bateson at Pantheon—so annoying. Added Pantheon to my blocklist. No lunch. Errand: grocery. I had then planned to return the Walgreens items solely to get my $5 off, and then I realized that the coupon had expired two days ago. Walked and rode Muni home. Dinner at home with Patrick: celery risotto made with rosemary broth. Dessert for me only: vanilla ice cream with chopped chocolate bar pieces sprinkled on top. Afterwards I edited a synopsis of one of Patrick's novels then also tried my hand at writing one from scratch.
