Pre-breakfast at home: an apple. Rode Muni and BART to Berkeley. BADcamp higher ed summit, at which I learned a new word "deathmarchy" coined by JK. Breakfast provided by the event: slice of banana bread, coffee with milk. Lunch with a bunch from the summit at a vietnamese restaurant that had Express in the name. Encountered Karl B who was running to catch BART. Browsed an excellent Edward Burtynsky exhibit at the David Brower Center, part of the Art/Act Award and Exhibition. Dinner at East Indian Spice Company with Jeff. Afterwards we walked around downtown Berkeley and got a drink at Jupiter.
