Slept in. Picked up some treats from Ambrosia Bakery. Drove to Sunnyvale. BBQ grill lunch with the Honmas. I brought coconut cream cake with tapioca, four chocolate mousse beehives, and a cookie assortment. Also: tortilla chips, homemade salsa, noodle salad, grilled asparagus. All were enchanted with a visit to Monument Valley. On the way home I stopped at Valero (495 Moffett) for gas and an automated car wash. Encountered heavy drizzle on the way home. Dinner at home: leftover tofu and asparagus soup, french fries from frozen.
