Breakfast at home: granola with lowfat milk. Laundry, vacuuming, organizing. Chatted briefly with Ashton and Corey. Began prepping Patrick's old iMac to sell: exterior clean, secure erase. Began prep work for filing taxes. Installed Windows updates, Steam into Windows 7. Lunch: soft tacos. Sanded rough parts of the new dining chairs, tested restaining one. Second lunch: dinner roll with harvest corn soup from a tetra pak. Watched YouTube clips with Patrick. Manicure. Folded laundry. Dinner at home with Patrick: I made a mushroom risotto which we ate with dinner rolls and butter. I decided today that I needed a new iron. I've had a Black and Decker F410AL (S8F410AL) for so long I can't remember when I bought it, but it must be around 20 years old. I stopped using the spray and steam features a long time ago because they stopped working properly. Lately I've noticed that the soleplate has something on it that occasionally leaves some kind of residue on ironed objects. I could clean it, but I wouldn't know if I were doing it properly, and I'm overdue for a new iron anyway.
