Slept in. Late breakfast: medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, flax meal, cacao nibs, roasted walnuts, and raspberries; water. Lunch: leftover ramen, though there were not many noodles left. Water to drink. Rode UberX to Hellman Hollow in Golden Gate Park for Tina and Fletch's Harry-Potter-themed baby shower. I think this was my first-ever ride in a Tesla. I didn’t know how to open the door until the driver told me how: press the larger part of the door handle to reveal a handle to pull. The car was a Model 3, white exterior and black interior. The interior didn’t feel luxurious or cheap; it was right the middle. The things that struck me most: the tinted roof was made almost entirely of glass, I had never before seen USB-C charging ports in a car, and there was no traditional dashboard — all controls appeared on a very large display at the center of the car. I also needed to learn how to exit: press the button with the open door symbol then push the door. At the baby shower, one table had a wide array of snacks included Ferrer-Rocher snitches with paper wings attached, mandrake pigs-in-a-blanket, butterbeer, and much more. Another table was for decorating baby bibs and onesies with laundry-safe markers. A third table let you pick a King Cake baby from a sorting hat and place it in one of the four Hogwarts houses of your choosing. Other family in attendance: Jennie, Stan, and their parents. I learned that the baby's name is Mason. It was great to see everyone again after so long. I met friends Mario and Annette and dog Misa. Rode UberX home. Dinner at home with Patrick: veggie avocado, tomato, and sprouts sandwiches. Water to drink. I washed dishes. Dessert: we shared a Harry Potter cookie. Cocktails: lemon-lime margaritas. Afterwards we watched part of Magic Mike on Netflix DVD. To bed with Patrick, cuddling.
