Ran in place to Apple News Today and Up First podcasts via Apple TV then to DEI and Accessibility in Digital Spaces via Stanford University on YouTube. Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, cinnamon, blueberries; water. Sprint standup. Blue Sky A3 template revision. Campaign Monitor RSS template build all day. Followup to our Campaign Monitor DKIM request. Lunch at home: I prepared for myself tonkatsu-flavored ramen with soft-boiled egg, spinach, carrot, broccoli, alba clamshell mushrooms, chopped mint, and a smidge of green curry paste; water. Met with Anne on Zoom to troubleshoot copy-paste issues from Word into Drupal. Chatted on Zoom with Joel who had questions about buying a new Mac. Dinner with Patrick. We attempted to eat at Lost and Found but there was a long line and it didn't seem like they had any available tables. All the outdoor, parklet tables were full, and the indoor tables did not seem like they were set up for diners. Only one person was behind the counter, and we could tell that it would be a long wait just to speak with someone. Instead we walked to Chalos only to find it closed. We walked back to Parkside Tavern where we dined: manhattan for Patrick, dark dubliner for me. We shared a bowl of seafood chowder, which was accompanied by a dense bread and butter. For entrees, Patrick had cottage pie, I had roast chicken with vegetables (broccoli and string beans) and champ (mashed potatoes with scallions). For dessert we shared a granny smith apple tart with caramel and whipped cream. All the food and drink were delicious and perfectly prepared. The dark dubliner comes in a nine-inch-tall glass. The chowder was rich and perfectly salted. The cottage pie is topped with mashed potatoes bagpiped with a star pastry tip then broiled to aesthetic perfection. The roast chicken was moist on the inside, and crispy golden brown on the outside. $97.98 before a $20 tip. Televisions everywhere played various sporting events and a few families passed through, but it was not too noisy. The place was moderately busy with about eight other tables occupied and about ten patrons at the bar. Walked home. Patrick went to bed. Today Patrick brought home a Piano Everywhere—a gift from Sam. Weight training: dumbbell fly.
