Breakfast at home: leftovers. Rode Uber Pool Express to UCSF Parnassus. Worked in the Dean's Office Administration office for a while. Met with OSACA to discuss web issues. UCSF shuttle from Parnassus to Laurel Heights. Lunch: leftovers from home. Asana task followup. HTML email work: new placeholders. Email campaigns microsite build: edits and created a homepage image. UCSF shuttle from Laurel Heights to Parnassus. Meeting: Faculty / Lab Policy Working Group for Web Governance. Errand: Cole Hardware: furniture cams. Tried to work from Cafe Reverie but found that they had no wifi and I had very poor signal with T-Mobile, so it was very frustrating; connections timed out frequently enough that I gave up after only a few minutes after having a cup of hot tea. Rode Uber Pool Express to the Mission. Dinner at Tuba with Patrick. Pilsner for Patrick, glass of Kocabag Okuzgozu for me. Small plates to share: sigara boregi (fillo dough stuffed with potatoes, feta cheese, parsley and a touch of black pepper), peynirli karides(prawns sauteed with tomatoes and garlic in pepperoncini sauce and topped with feta cheese), dolma (grape leaves stuffed with rice, pine nuts and currants, cooked in olive oil), cevizli ezme (walnuts, Turkish red pepper paste, tomato paste, fresh garlic, olive oil, and cumin), haydari (cucumbers, mint, and dill with creamy thick garlic yogurt), piyaz (white beans, onions, tomatoes, parsley, black olives, wine vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil). We were pleasantly surprised to have received a flatbread with small accompaniments included with dinner. Dessert: kunefe, turkish coffee with a little sugar for Patrick, turkish tea for me. $144.60 after a $25 tip. We enjoyed this meal very much. We ordered perhaps one or two plates too many and had leftovers to take home. Rode UberX home with Patrick. Tried for the third time to repair the bathroom cabinet but ended up only destroying more furniture cam locks and decided that it is unfixable; we'll just buy a new bathroom cabinet. Shopped online for a new bathroom cabinet.
