Pre-breakfast: an apple. Rode Uber Pool to the Inner Sunset. Light breakfast with Danny at Park Chow: Danny had a kids' order of french toast, I had a bowl of oatmeal. Lattes for both. Afterwards we visited the 2017 Succulent and Cactus Show and Sale at the County Fair Building, free admission. We browsed all the plants for sale and eyed the contest award winners. Then we walked through the Arboretum, free admission. We exited near the Music Concourse and encountered the 11th Annual Golden Gate Park Band Festival at the Spreckels Temple of Music on the Music Concourse where we stayed a while to hear the Cupertino Symphonic Band play "Seventy-Six Trombones," an Irish washer woman's song, and a medley from West Side Story. We continued walking, encountering Lindy in the Park which had about only five people dancing. We continued walking to Stow Lake and the boathouse, then returned to the 8th Avenue exit to Fulton Street, where Danny had parked his scooter. Sunday Streets Sunset Golden Gate Park was happening today but we didn't want to walk that far to get to it. I rode Uber Pool to Hayes Valley and met Patrick at The Boxing Room specifically so that we could hear Gaucho play. They just started a break when we entered, but they were back in a seemingly short amount of time. Before we ate we browsed some in the shops in the neighborhood. Rode UberX home with Patrick. Nap. Dinner at home with Patrick: leftovers.
