Took today off from work to get a head start on a Russian River Valley weekend trip. Breakfast: granola with yogurt and fresh blueberries. Rode Uber Pool to Shotwell House. Rode with phil, drew, romy, and paul to Forestville. we stopped at d'argenzio winery then j vineyards on the way. d'argenzio is in a strip mall. we stopped there mostly because we needed a restroom. others tried wine but ultimately did not like any of them or the service. Paul, Phil, and Drew hunted for and returned with groceries from Guerneville. paul and phil prepared dinner: steak and mashed potatoes, broccolini, arugula salad. wayne, peter, and danny arrived, then later richard and michael as well. we played cards against humanity: a three-way tie among dave, richard, and me. the others stayed up late i think watching something on television. I started getting a new cold today.
