Breakfast: leftover mushroom, kale, blue cheese frittata; 6 ounces of orange juice. Rode Muni to UCSF Parnassus. UCSF shuttle from Parnassus to Laurel Heights. Sprint standup. Forwarded a recent grad's request for help archiving email to the student helpdesk. Microsites work: Savic followup, ACDRS followup. Updated a link on our PharmD find a home page. More computer setup and configuration work. Updated the phone number cheat sheet for Polly. Helped Megan with a question about photo consent/release forms. Followup with a legal name and email address change request. Lunch at Vixi Cucina Italiana (3611 California Street). This is in the same space that Pasta Pomodoro used to be. The interior has been redesigned somewhat with different lamps and artwork but the same layout as before. The menu seems very similar to the previous Pasta Pomodoro menu. I had salmon with rotelle and minestrone soup. The meal included complimentary focaccia with sundried tomato dipping sauce. Purple potatoes in the soup, cloth napkins for lunch, freshly ground pepper is offered, the salmon was perfectly prepared—very tender and juicy. Vixi is a terrific value for the area compared to Rigolo, A.G. Ferrari, Beautifull!, and other nearby restaurants. UCSF shuttle from Laurel Heights to Parnassus. Dropped off papers at the OSACA. Encountered Tina B and met husband Ollie in the elevator, chatted briefly. Rode Muni N-Judah from UCSF Parnassus to Civic Center Station. Walked 6th Street from Market to Mission—a tad unpleasant. Arrived early at Miss Saigon and chatted with Chi and Nam. Recharge Medical end of summer dinner celebration at Miss Saigon with John, Johnny, Alyssa, Chris P, Phil, Drew, Danny, Romy, and (Kamil?). We ate downstairs. After dinner, Danny, Johnny, and Alyssa karaoked. Afterwards I rode to Shotwell House Garage. Rode Lyft Line home: about $10 after tip. Finished watching Ali Wong Baby Cobra on Netflix instant watch—hilarious.
