Breakfast at home: organic oatmeal with fresh, diced organic pink lady apple, raisins, masala, California sage honey, soy milk. Rode my bike to work. Linkchecking, Flickr work, kiosk work. Chapter Three technical setup meeting. Chapter Three design meeting. CP research categorization meeting. Lunch at Palio with Susie. Lots of calendar management. Lots of confirmation or setup of accounts: Salesforce Chatter, Movi, Marketo, Acquia. Tried to install Skitch, but it wouldn't install, and I don't know why. Told Joel about Skitch because of a recent discussion we had had. Calendar management. Meeting room reservation work with Kim B then Lucia. Management activities. (Heretofore Chapter Three will sometimes be abbreviated as C3.) C3 strategy document work. Watched some Radian6 intro videos. Lots of Marketo training setup work. Planning with Susie for possible attendance at DrupalCon Denver. (I hadn't realized this would take so much time.) I'd had a Dell 2005FPW in my bedroom with a DVD player for years, and it never got used, so recently Patrick helped me move it to my office at work, and today I set it up on my Mac Pro. The Mac Pro already had a spare DVI port, so all I had to do was find the right cable and plug it in. I set up the 2005FPW in portrait mode. Since it's a widescreen display, this makes it great for viewing long web pages. I still have my 4:3 monitor, so if I need to I can move a browser window there to get a better idea (psychologically) of what others with 4:3 monitors see. Now I can see web page content simultaneously with Outlook, HTML-Kit, or any other application—it's a big difference. Rode my bike home. Pumped more air into my rear tire. Dinner at home with Patrick: black-bean-and-mushroom quesadillas on small corn tortillas, vegan sushi from Tofu Yu, TJ's surfboard tortilla chips, mild salsa. Installed Skitch and Papparazzi!, Apple updates, Firefox 10. (Skitch was the first thing I'd ever installed with the App Store on my iMac.)
