Breakfast at home with Patrick: french toast, hot tea. House chores. Worked on Patrick's website. Late lunch at home with Patrick: biryani, chicken tikki masala, naan. With Patrick: hung out at Duboce Park, in the Lower Haight, got a snack and a drink at The Grind Cafe, ran an errand at Walgreens. More work on Patrick's website. Dinner at home with Patrick: korean cow, steamed rice, stir-fried spinach and garlic. Watched The King of Comedy (1982) on Netflix DVD with Patrick. Liked it even though it's not a very likeable film. Installed Apple software updates. Abandoned Time Machine backups for both computers due to continuing problems with my computer's Time Machine showing "Preparing..." forever and my computer's Spotlight indexing forever. Repartitioned the Time Machine drive, gave it a new name, verified the volume (all is well), plugged it back in to the Airport Extreme, set up Time Machine configuration anew for one computer.
