Wrangled with the iPod, couldn't get it to work: "firmware update failure. disk write error" and an icon in the iPod display: folder with an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle warning symbol. Tried everything (resetting the iPod, uninstalling and reinstalling the iPod software, charging the iPod for 8 hours, resetting the iPod again). At times it was recognized by Windows and we were able to copy files to it, but without warning it would revert back to the yellow triangle and folder error. Breakfast at home: Joe's Ohs with fresh sliced banana, sliced white nectarine. I took some Rainier cherries to work to share. Cindy had received a gourmet snacks gift basket from one of our event partners—they must have been feeling guilty for screwing us over at our last event. We grazed throughout the day over items such as black peppercorn crackers, merlot cheddar, and Almond Roca. Lunch with Joel at Nan King Road Bistro. Joel had #3, I had double happiness. Spent most of the day working on supp app Javascript code and minor web page updates. Home. Backfilled journal entries for the July 1 to 4 camping trip. Dinner at home with Patrick: jambalaya and bread. Archived documents. Archived photos from the camping trip.
