Had trouble sleeping last night. Breakfast: leftover fritatta, water. Lunch: sloppy joe, leftover tater tots, water. Walked and rode Muni to City Hall to obtain copies of our marriage certificate. Upon arrival I checked in, was first in line, but still had to wait about 20 minutes for the previous customer to finish. Once at the window I was asked for my ID and credit card. I did not need to fill out any of the forms I had prepared and brought with me. After getting to the counter, the whole process took about five minutes. Walked and rode Muni home. Scanned a copy of one of the certificates. Notified University of California Retirement at Your Service of our change from domestic partners to married by uploading a copy of the certificate in a new message in the UCRAYS website. Dinner at home with Patrick: jazzed-up TJ's frozen pizza, water. We shared a glass of red wine. Afterwards we watched YouTube. Patrick went to bed. I processed dirty dishes and cleaned the kitchen. Late snack: corn chips, toasted english muffin with morello cherry spread, water.
