Breakfast: one english muffin with salted Irish butter, leftover veggie fritatta, hot water. Submitted a warranty repair request with WAC Lighting for the undercabinet light. I suspect that screw threads for one post are malformed, which prevents the light from being installed. Lunch with Patrick at home: roast turkey breast and bacon sandwiches, seasoned tortilla chips (similar to Doritos but spicier), hot water. Began repairing an electrical outlet in the hallway to our bedroom. Errand: Cliff's Variety for hardware. Finished repairing the outlet—success! I was surprised to find that the outlet I purchased at Cliff's costs four times as much on Amazon. Dinner: Patrick and I walked to Santeria, stopping briefly outside our home to chat with neighbor Dan. At Santeria it was fuller than we had expected for 5:45 p.m. We were seated quickly but then there was a seven-minute wait for the waiter. We placed an order for happy hour drinks and nachos and expected to order more afterwards, but after the food and drinks arrived and we got halfway into them we realized we did not need more especially since the service was so slow. There seemed to be only one waiter for the entire inside and outside of the restaurant. We requested our check and that also took a long time but eventually we paid and departed. $30 before tax and tip. Walked home, stopping at Epicurean Trader for a few items and gifts. We watched YouTube and we both got tired quickly. Patrick went to bed. I later got a second wind and shopped online for drawer pulls and flow restrictors and made a minor change to DNS settings for one subdomain before turning in.
