Breakfast: slice of veggie frittata, 1.5 levain slices with Irish butter, hot water. Organized and filed old financial paperwork, scrapbook items, old photos, etc. For lunch, Sam came over and Patrick served charcuterie. Afterwards they left to shop groceries. I remained, cleaned the kitchen, and did out-of-cycle wood butter treatments for two cutting boards. Paper shredding management. Swept in front of the home. Removed fresh bubble gum that someone had thrown on the sidewalk in front of our home. Deep-cleaned the bedroom bathroom sink drain: poured boiling water, removed lots of long, fine, black hair and gunk with an inexpensive hair snake tool. Another round of boiling water then cleaned. Attempted to resolve two doors rubbing door jambs and failed on both, even after WD-40, because I was unable to remove the pins. On one I probably need vice grips to remove the bottom cap. Dinner at home with Patrick: small breaded chicken breasts and fries with ketchup and honey mustard dipping sauce, hot water. I processed dirty dishes and cleaned the kitchen. We watched Shrinking s3:e7 on Apple TV then Wonder Man s1:e1 on Hulu. Patrick went to bed. Started the dishwasher.
