Breakfast: blueberries with plain greek yogurt, toasted coconut, flax meal, roasted and slivered almonds; hot water. Prepared for a dinner party: dusted, vacuumed. Painted the dent/scrape on the garage door that I had patched yesterday. Researched undercabinet lighting. Dinner party at home with Jeff C, David M, Tony H, Scot B. Batch cocktail: old fashioned but with grand marnier instead of simple syrup, lemon peel. Charcuterie: maple cayenne pecans, cinnamon almonds, orange ginger jam, mixed marinated Greek olives, Dijon mustard, quicos (crunchy corn kernels), twisty fennel taralli crackers, Spanish sweet crisp tortas, semolina loaf, baguette, salami (finocchiona, prosciutto, varzi), cheeses: uplands cheese pleasant ridge reserve, marin french cheese co petit creme, mitaca sottocenere al tartufo, and Herve Mons Pave du Nord. Garden lettuces with scallion-buttermilk dressing. Warm baguettes and levain. Creole chicken and shrimp jambalaya with bacon and turkey kielbasa. Dessert: bolo de cenoura (aka Brazilian carrot cake). Scot gifted me a PB Swiss mini screwdriver with 6 bits.
