Breakfast: leftover curly fries from Barney's, one egg over easy with chives, hot water. No lunch. For dinner, Patrick and I walked to Burma Love, meeting Gary E, John R, Cristiano F, and Jeff C. Along the way we stopped briefly at Copper to say a quick hello to a subset of The Syndicate gathered for happy hour drinks then dinner. At Burma Love, it was packed. We waited about 15 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation. Cocktails and water. We shared the appetizer sampler, mango chicken, pumpkin pork stew, garlic noodles add shrimp, tea leaf salad, chicken fried rice, nan pia dok. Dessert: tea-misu, fried banana milk, black rice pudding. One of the servers was Jade whom we knew from The Academy. All food, drink, and service by Sarila were very good. Afterwards we had a final round of drinks at Orbit Room. The group generously gifted the leftovers to us in light of our news from 10 days ago. John and Gary rode Uber home. The rest of us walked toward home, encountering Michael I and Mike and chatting with them briefly.
