Breakfast at home: I prepared for myself one sausage patty from frozen; one hash brown patty from frozen with ketchup; a two-egg scramble with celery, diced red onion, and parsley; one slice of sourdough toast with salted butter; hot water. Housecleaning all day in preparation for one of several forthcoming housewarmings. Resolved a permissions problem (the file may be read-only, or another user may have it open) with an external hard drive. Midday a fire truck briefly appeared in front of our house to attend to a call from a neighboring house. Midafternoon snack: Patrick and I shared one cornbread muffin. I also had some unsalted cashews and a Mexican vanilla soda from scratch. I walked to Cliff's and back for some potting soil. I repotted a plant. I reprinted food labels so that they were larger than before. Patrick and I walked to dinner at Heroic Italian: sauvignon blanc, pinsa with bacon, fettuccine with chicken parmagiana. All food and drink were delicious. Walked home. We watched various YouTube videos then Star Trek: Strange New Worlds s3:e2 on Paramount+ then The Simpsons s34:e7 on Hulu. Late beverage: small Mexican vanilla soda.
