Patrick and I woke early. Patrick ate a banana and drank coffee. Patrick began preparing breakfast, and I helped. Southern drop biscuits from scratch, then buttery grits and a fritatta with andouille and red bell pepper. After breakfast, Patrick and I packed, and everyone cleaned. We all departed for Unti Winery's white wine release party. We enjoyed pizza and cannoli. We bought a case of different wines. We enjoyed the live music and many dogs that came with their owners. We said our goodbyes and drove home. Did some cleaning of the soles of my heated slippers after realizing how dirty they were. Walked to dinner at Takara Sushi (415-626-7864, 4243 18th Street) with Patrick: hot green tea, sweet crab roll, spider roll, crispy cannon roll, snow roll. All food, drink, and service were excellent. Walked home.
