Breakfast: leftovers from yesterday's lunch, hot water. Continued packing for a trip. Lunch: leftover fritatta, hot water. Patrick and I rented a car and drove to JY and Adrian's Sundance getaway in Guerneville for the weekend. Along the way we stopped at Starbucks for refreshments. We got a tour of the house and property, then took a short walk in the neighborhood with JY. We met Josh and Sheening who returned from R3. JY made us dinner at the house: J. Kenji López-Alt's Vietnamese Grilled Lemongrass Pork Chops (Thit Heo Nuong Xa) with steamed rice, salad, nuoc mam, wine. Some of us ate dessert: fruit salad, ube ice cream. We sat in the living room and read and answered questions from cards. To bed.
