Tina visits, day 5 of 5. Patrick hunted and gathered pastries from Tartine, Craftsman and Wolves, and Cafe de Casa before Tina and I awoke. We ate them with coffee and hot water. Patrick and Tina printed astrological natal charts for us all and reviewed them. I caught up on journaling and uploaded photos to Flickr. Lunch at home with Sam, Tina, and Patrick: salad, garlic bread, and leftover jambalaya. I napped. Walked to dinner at Dumpling Kitchen (544 Castro Street) with Patrick and Tina: hot jasmine tea, hot and sour soup, green onion pancake, shanghai-style steamed pork dumplings, shanghai-style pan-fried pork buns, shanghai-style steamed sticky rice shumai, steamed beef shumai, steamed chicken and shiitake baos. All food and drink were delicious. Service by Anita was very good. While there we encountered Brian and Jose and said hello. Afterwards, Patrick, Tina, and I walked to Hot Cookie and bought six cookies home and ate half of each. Tina leaves very early tomorrow morning, so I said goodbye before sleeping.
