Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, flax meal, cacao nibs, toasted shaved coconut, pumpkin seeds, diced half banana; hot water. Rode Muni to UCSF Parnassus. Completed button styling for Benet Event for Lawrence. Continued pipeline programs web pages build for Lawrence, Sharon, and Igor. Followup with IT following resolution of the issue in which the jobs.ucsf.edu redirect was broken. Lunch by myself from Ladle & Leaf: lobster bisque with bread, mac and cheese with bread. Ate on the patio. Town hall prep. Handling announcement requests. Mailing list management. Rode Muni home. Patrick and I walked and rode Muni to Van Ness Street Station. We walked to Dumpling House intending to dine, but the line was much longer than we had expected. We instead dined across the street at Doppio Zero, sitting at the bar, which gave us a perfect view of the pizzamaking and the pizza oven. Sparkling water, appetizer: beets (yellow and red beets with truffle stracciatella cheese, balsamic olive oil and toasted hazelnut), formaggi and sage white pizza (fior di latte mozzarella cheese, gorgonzola cheese, fontina cheese, Parmesan cheese, fresh sage), cocktails: Dragon Aperol Spritz (aperol, prosecco, dragon fruit pure, and soda water) for Patrick, Bourbon in the City (bourbon Four Roses, simple syrup, lime juice, passion fruit, flow of hibiscus) for me. Patrick had an espresso at the end. $100 after a 20% tip. Service by Ariel H was excellent. All food and drink were delicious. Afterwards we had some time to kill, so we walked to Smuggler's Cove. Pinky Gonzales (tequila, fresh lime, house-made orgeat, orange curaƧao, sugar) for Patrick. Kona Cocktail (rum, fresh muddled pineapple, passion fruit, fresh lime, honey) for me. Afterwards we walked to New Conservatory Theatre for the fifth preview of Unpacking in P'town. We attended the pre-show discussion then chatted briefly with Jewelle before enjoying the play. Afterwards, while awaiting an Uber ride home, a stranger approached us on the dark sidewalk and began talking to us, and we had an unusual, puzzling, and very brief discussion. Our ride arrived before it reached a logical conclusion, and away Patrick and I went. We hope he was okay. Our ride was a Tesla Model Y.
