Performed stretches good for the back. Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, flax meal, cacao nibs, toasted grated coconut, toasted sliced almonds, diced mango; hot water. Worked from home. Answered a question from Matt H about vendors like Gmail changing how html email works. Reported a problem to Tanya J about the Staffbase UserVoice disappearing. Answered a Staffbase question for Wan-Yu. Repaired a CPCS page for Jenna. Updated bulk email help documents to almost entirely remove references to Bananatag and to update many links—mostly Staffbase. Lunch at home: Patrick picked up sandwiches from Irving Subs while running errands: fratellino (mortadella, black forest ham, salami, smoked gouda, roasted red peppers) for Patrick, T.A.B.L.T. (turkey, thick-cut bacon, avocado) for me, potato chips from the pantry for both. Performed knee-friendly quad-strengthening exercises while rewatching John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid on Netflix. Posted updated content to FAA for Robin. Troubleshot duplicate files in OneDrive likely caused by unsyncing and resyncing OneDrive on July 17 due to sync issues. Began archiving dept history microsites in preparation for removing them. Patrick and I rode Muni and walked to dinner at Pasta Panino, our first time dining here. At about 6:00 p.m. the place was almost full and somewhat loud. Sparkling water; arancini; small caesar salad with anchovies; linguini aloo scoglio with clams, mussels, shrimp, mixed roasted peppers, calabrian chilis, roasted tomato, white wine and parmigiano. We both thought the service was almost overly attentive and needed some improvement. If you are two people and both order sparkling water, they will oddly bring you two 500 ml bottles; ask for just one bottle if you're not sure you will drink both. After our water order was taken, a minute later someone else came by and asked us what kind of water we liked—a bit annoying. Later we told the waiter who took our food order that we were sharing everything. However, when the salad arrived, only one knife was provided until I requested another. The staff doesn't understand proper timing. We were still finishing our salad and arancini when the main arrived, and we felt rushed but didn't feel it necessary to complain. A shrimp that had found its way off a plate landed on the floor in a walkway and was not noticed by the staff for perhaps five to ten minutes when it was finally retrieved. Service was friendly and clear. We walked in the Castro before riding Muni home. Dessert: ice cream with brownie bite. We watched Secret Invasion s1:e6 (season finale) on Disney+. Patrick went to bed. I washed dishes. Continued reading from Brene Brown's Atlas of the Heart.
