Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, flax meal, roasted and unsalted sliced almonds, cacao nibs, toasted unsweetened coconut flakes, diced half banana; water. Multiple doctor appointments and labs take up the entire morning. No rain on my travel there, but it started raining before I left. Lunch at My Father's Kitchen: #4: Phở Gà đặc Biệt (chicken rice noodle soup special - Free range chicken and rare eye of round steak), Cafe Sữa Đá (Vietnamese iced coffee with sweetened condensed milk). Rode Muni home. Worked a half day. Followup with IT about problems with Teams and Outlook caused by SEP or FireEye or something else. Strategic Plan Retreat headshot photos distribution followup. Automated mailing list followup for residencies with Andrei. Eric, Levi, and I met for Eric to share news about a new vice dean with whom we'll be working closely and who starts in a few weeks. Dinner at home with Patrick: delivery from Hard Knox Cafe via Uber Eats: fried chicken breast sandwich with red beans and rice for Patrick, fried chicken pot pie for me, pear salad to share, mac and cheese. While watching our driver on the map we noticed that they took an indirect route even though we ordered priority delivery. They stopped at 37th and Balboa for at least five minutes before delivering our food. We left no tip and reported the problem to Uber Eats. The food was delicious, and the portions were huge. The pot pie is seven inches in diameter and an inch tall, which is about three or four times larger than we had expected. We had more food than we had expected; we saved the pear salad for later. Some of our food was cold and had to be reheated, but the pot pie stayed very hot. We watched Star Trek: Picard s3:e4 on Paramount+. Patrick went to bed.
