Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, roasted and toasted and chopped almonds, toasted and unsweetened coconut flakes, cacao nibs, flax meal, diced half banana; water. Rode Muni with Patrick to the Asian Art Museum to see Kongkee: Warring States Cyberpunk and Delightful Luxury: The Art of Chinese Lacquer. Afterwards we walked in Hayes Valley, lunching on lunch combos at Lers Ros Thai (307 Hayes Street, 415-874-9661): Patrick had pork green curry, bbq chicken on bone, white rice, side salad with a thai iced tea. I had cashew chicken, tofu and mixed vegetables, brown rice, side salad with tap water. $40 before a $7 tip. Service was odd but not awful. Afterwards we got ice cream waffle cones at Salt and Straw: Patrick had almond brittle w/ salted ganache (chocolate coated almond brittle with hunks of creamy chocolate ganache swirled in a vanilla ice cream) and peppermint cocoa (housemade peppermint fondant swirl hand-drizzled in a rich cocoa ice cream). I had almond brittle w/ salted ganache (chocolate coated almond brittle with hunks of creamy chocolate ganache swirled in a vanilla ice cream) and Dwanta's Teremana-spiked eggnog (rich, silky custard ice cream spiked with notes of oaky vanilla from Teremana's reposado tequila and a splash of Amontillado sherry). We bought a half dozen bagels from Wise Sons before riding Muni home. I napped. Dinner at home with Patrick: we had a small meal of leftover pizza, and Patrick also had a leftover shrimp-stuffed mirliton. Water to drink. We watched and enjoyed The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special on Disney+ then “Diamonds Are Forever… But So Is a Plastic Bag” - Sheng Wang - Full Special via Comedy Central Stand-Up on YouTube. Patrick went to bed. I washed dishes.
