Medium bowl of oatmeal with 2% milk, flax meal, toasted coconut flakes, sliced and toasted almonds, diced half peach; water. Rode Muni to Hayes Valley. Walked to Starbucks to use the bathroom. Bought items at Hahdough Kitchen. Walked to Ritual where Patrick got a mocha. We ate on Patricia's Green: vanilla cream berliner for Patrick, Kirschtasche (cherry turnover) for me. We saved a pretzel for later. While waiting for coffee we observed a dog attempt to mount another dog and then when the mounted dog said no the horny dog bit it in the back and held on while the mounted dog yelped in pain. We walked to San Francisco Arts Commission to visit Juanita: 30 Years of MORE!, an exhibition of collected arts, dresses, jewelry, and photographs of the legendary mainstay of San Francisco culture and politics. It had opened yesterday or today, and we had the place essentially to ourselves. We walked to Wilkommen. Along the way we encountered a dead mouse, surprisingly flat. In all our walking today we had to dodge many piles of feces on the sidewalks. At Wilkommen we forgot to use a 15% off coupon that Patrick had received but decided we'll use it another time before it expires. Patrick had a Thuringer in the Bavarian style: mild pork sausage with caraway and marjoram on a plate with red cabbage and warm potato salad (which was slices of cooked potatoes and not an American potato salad. I had a breakfast sandwich from the brunch menu: sausage, fried egg, Jack cheese, arugula, and garlic pepper mayo on a grilled soft bun. To drink: Patrick had a half pint of Heff Bridges Bavarian Hefeweizen. Water for me. We walked to Castro Street Station then rode Muni home. I napped while listening to a reading of Animal Farm on Hoopla, then awoke hours later to Patrick preparing dinner: leftovers from last night. We watched The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power s1:e6 on Amazon Prime Video. Earlier today Patrick baked a variation of Ridiculously Easy Farmhouse Buttermilk Cake by adding a tablespoon of cardamom to the recipe and making a number of other small changes. He warmed and ate a slice; I had just a bite. We rewatched Patton Oswalt: Talking for Clapping which we started watching in 2016 but forgot to finish. We made it 30 minutes in from the beginning before Patrick's bedtime, so we stopped there. Patrick went to bed. I washed dishes.
