Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk, flax meal, toasted and slivered almonds, and sliced banana; water. Prepped for house guests: cleaning and vacuuming. Showered. Sam, Mom, and Kerry came over for lunch. Patrick prepared Commander's Palace seafood gumbo from an earlier frozen shipment via Goldbelly. For me only: low-carb keto biscuits. For everyone else: slices of French baguette. Dessert: sacripantina from Stella Pastry & Cafe via Uber Eats. Long nap for me. Cocktails: Giffard caribbean pineapple margaritas with salt. Dinner at home with Patrick: delivery from Memphis Minnie's via Uber Eats: mostly for Patrick: one St. Louis-style smoked pork rib, one two-way combo (Minnie's smoked fried chicken, smoked Maria tri-tip steak, pit smoked beans, Minnie's macaroni and cheese); mostly for me: one BBQ chicken caesar salad with pulled chicken and cornbread croutons. Repaired with needle and thread a few small holes in my light turquoise long-sleeve Scotch and Shrunk t-shirt. Dessert: one slice each of sacripinta again. We watched stand-up comedy on YouTube including a 35-minute full special by Amy Miller via Comedy Central Stand-Up which we enjoyed. We watched some of SNL s47:e17 Jake Gyllenhall. Patrick went to bed. I washed dishes. Read and provided notes on two more stories of Patrick's forthcoming new collection of short stories.
