Walked and ran in place to the remainder of CODA on Apple TV+—loved it. Medium bowl of oatmeal with milk and blueberries; water to drink. Later in the morning but before noon we walked to the farmer's market at 37th and Ortega aka Sunset Mercantile. It was nice to get outside. We wore our N95 (Patrick) and KN95 (me) masks before entering the more crowded areas. I was surprised that nearly everyone still wore masks even though we were outside and not tightly crowded. Musicians played and sang in different areas but this did not carry the same concern as earlier in the pandemic when the vaccines were new. We walked the entire length once before trying several eateries on the return: one guava malasada from Ocean Malasada Company ($3.50), shrimp yakisoba from Kunugi Noodle ($18 before tip), mushroom slice from Sunset Squares pizza ($6 before tip), and Al Greens vegetable juice from Bowl'D Acai ($12 before tip). The malasada was delicious and we would try the other flavors next time. The yakisoba had a notably large number of medium-sized shrimp and Patrick commented on the flavors weren't overwhelmed by soy saltiness. The pizza was delicious and pillowy with crunchy, hard-cheesy edges. It could've been hotter, so maybe next time we'll ask them to warm it extra hot. The juice made Patrick say, "Woo!" on the first sip and had a mildly warm ginger warmth to it. While strolling we enjoyed Lunar New Year celebrations, including a dance troupe. A lion dance also performed, and we saw them arrive, but we did not catch it. Walked home, stopping at Asian American Food Company on Taraval for frozen dumplings. I napped. Dinner at home with Patrick: seafood and vegetarian dumplings, water. While preparing the meal I made quarter horse cocktails for us to enjoy. Afterwards Patrick washed dishes, then we made Martha Stewart's Movie-Theater-Style Popcorn for tonight's film: Ruthless People (1986) on Netflix DVD. Patrick went to bed. I washed more dishes.
