Attended day 3 of the virtual Adobe MAX conference all day, working in other tasks as needed. KG was in the office today, and she showed me how to answer the door with the camera phone. Yang: Good Deal on Hulu Basic Plan then watched The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror XXV and Halloween of Horror s27:e4 on Disney+. Patrick went to bed. I troubleshot mount problems with a Seagate external hard drive purchased by work for my work computer. Various problems: volume could not be umounted, unable to unmount volume for repair, couldn't open device, operation failed, problem -69842 occurred while restoring the original mount state. I worked around these by erasing the drive, formatting as APFS enrypted with GUID, then restarting a Time Machine backup. Following the format Disk Utility seemed to indicate that it was formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled), and I don't know why.
